Anthony Verschoor is researcher within the team Microbial Water Quality and Health at KWR. Anthony is educated within aquatic ecology and water quality and has performed his PhD research on microalgae. Apart from ecology, Anthony has further developed into (environmental) biotechnology and water technology. Over the past years he worked on the use of aquatic organisms for water treatment, biomass production and resource recovery. Anthony is specialist in microbial ecology, biological stability, surface water quality and closing cycles (circular economy).
